The Gift of Dyslexia - do you have it?
At the basis of dyslexia is a perceptual talent, a gift.
It is the ability to make 3-D images, and to be able to travel through these images in much the same way as computers use virtual reality. These images, although imaginary, are perceived as reality - and while they are happening, the person's perception of the real physical world is distorted.
If a person uses this talent as an automatic and compulsive reaction when confused, then difficulties ensue. Depending on where an individual's main source of confusion lies, these difficulties may show up as problems with reading, writing, hearing, speech, maths, clumsiness, attention or behaviour.
Learn how to switch off your dyslexic or ADHD symptoms and unlock new areas of ability.
The DavisŪ Dyslexia Correction Programme provides the solution for such difficulties. It shows the individual how to take conscious control of their talent, and thus their own learning. It:
- Enables the individual to switch off distorted perceptions
- Gets rid of the sources of confusion which caused the difficulties in the first place
- Provides the know-how to deal with any future confusions that might arise throughout life
The programme aims to be fun. People enjoy it because it's all about themselves and what they want to achieve. And it uses their own natural style of thinking to achieve this! It's suitable for adults and children aged 8 or over, is based on individual tuition, and takes place over five 6-hour days.
