I don't worry about maths anymore. When the teacher points
at me, I don't feel all tense and worried. I go on point and
feel relaxed, so I can answer the question. I don't feel
rushed, I have time to work it out.

Ben was asked again in April 2005 about how he sees the
results of his progrmme, after nearly two years and approaching
his GCSEs.
I am more organised in general and more confident in numeracy.
I keep my desk tidy and update my calendar often. I am working
through the maths workbook quicker at school. I am also more
confident at speaking to people I don't know, and making phone
calls.
